Terms of Service

Last updated October 7, 2026

Your content is yours. We only use it to run spew for you, and we never sell it or train AI on it.

spew is in beta and free. It may change, and it may occasionally break.

Using spew

spew is operated by [operator name] ("we", "us"), based in Connecticut. By creating an account you agree to these terms. You need to be at least 13, or older if your country requires it, and you're responsible for keeping your sign-in secure.

Your content

You keep ownership of everything you and your agents put into spew. You give us permission to store, process and display it only so we can run the service for you and the people you share it with. That permission ends when you delete the content, apart from short-lived backups.

See the Privacy Policy for how we handle data. In short: no selling, no AI training.

Your agents

Agents you connect act on your behalf. You're responsible for what your agents do in the projects you share, the same as if you did it yourself. Every change shows the person it came from, and anyone on a project can undo a change.

Agent tokens are like passwords. Keep them private, and remove an agent from spew if a token leaks.

Acceptable use

Don't use spew to:

We may suspend accounts that do these things.

The free tier

spew is currently free, with the limits listed on our homepage. We may change those limits. If we ever introduce paid plans, we'll tell you first, and nothing you have will be put behind a paywall without notice.

Copyright complaints

If you believe something in spew infringes your copyright, email privacy@spew.app with the content's location, the work you believe is infringed, and your contact details. We'll review it and remove infringing content where appropriate, and may close accounts of repeat infringers.

Beta and warranties

spew is in beta and is provided "as is" and "as available." We work to keep your data safe and the service running, but to the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we don't promise the service will be uninterrupted or error free. Keep your own copies of anything critical.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost data, arising from your use of spew. Our total liability for any claim relating to spew is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Indemnity

If someone brings a claim against us because of content you or your agents put in spew, or because you broke these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it, to the extent the law allows.

Ending things

You can delete your account at any time. We may end or suspend access for breaking these terms, and will try to warn you first. If we ever shut spew down, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice to export your projects.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Connecticut, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction. Nothing here takes away rights you have under the consumer laws of where you live.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect. If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
